KINGDOM OF STRANGERS

Ali, a young Egyptian living in self-exile in Los Angeles is visited by a memory of an old friend. Together they try to make sense of a past haunted by trauma and a present that makes no sense.

Kingdom of Strangers is a short directed by Randa Ali. It is made during the Covid pandemic with a limited amount of crew and under the support of the ARRI Franz Wieser Grant and Zeiss. This film is premiered at the 26th Arab Film Festival 2022.
